You show two very ornate brass covers, one has a Chinese symbol on the top, and the other has a $ symbol on it. Both covers are lifted to reveal three Chinese coins under one cover and three American 25c coins under the other. Note: The Chinese coins are red in color with gold symbols, and they also have a hole through the center.

You put all six coins into the spectator's hand and you remove the three American 25c coins.

The three American 25c coins are placed under one of the brass covers and in the twinkling of an eye the 25c coins change to the Chinese coins and the spectator now holds the three 25c coins, which can be fully examined.
